    The next task is to chisel the marble foundation to make nests for the honed stones. The chiselled spots are then highlighted against an Orange background made with Henna (Mehendi). This demarcation makes the process easier for the artist.

    Sunil Gabhale is a self-taught, documentary and editorial photojournalist. He primarily works as a visualiser in an Adverting Agency too after having studied GD Arts from the Raheja School Of Arts in Bombay, but photography continues to be his passion. He has been a part of photography assignments of diverse kinds – weddings, stage shows, contests, cultural events across India and has even been the Official Photographer at Femina Miss India 2013 and Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon 2013, 2014 & 2015. His photos have been shortlisted and featured in Better Photography Magazine and has won a Grand Prize in 2011 in a contest organized by INDIA Future of Change.
