Dhaval Patel’s residence, designed by Urban Sense Architects, is a playground of colours, textures and patterns. While the living room is washed in subtle shades of grey, the master bedroom is vivid. The room is designed to the theme of playing cards – its most arresting feature being the artwork of King of Spades against black Italian marble. The home takes a different turn, yet again, in the children’s bedroom with shades of yellow and teal livening up the space for its young occupants.
The living room is washed in shades of grey. Its interior wall finishes are bare, with minimal furniture and accessories. The furniture and floor patterns deploy geometric forms to adhere to the minimalist scheme of the living room.
The geometries are in full play with a corrugated feature wall in tandem with the television console. The wooden beam compliments the white and grey composition accentuated with the ceiling lights.
