It’s not every day you come across a home that is dressed to the nines and yet exudes a warm and convivial vibe. Located in the heart of Secunderabad, this 5400 – square ft. apartment houses a nuclear family. Principal architect Roshan Maru sought inspiration from the client’s simplicity and elegance which visibly helped elevate the interiors. With white walls and vibrant accent pieces, the welcoming abode effortlessly makes a place for itself in your heart as soon as you set foot inside.

Roshan Maru Interiors creates interior spaces dipped in tasteful appeal & cheerful ambience

The design of this Secunderabad home is undoubtedly brought alive by Roshan Maru’s contemporary ideas but is also largely rooted in the client’s belief in Vastu. The thoughtful blend of the two aspects is what gives this accommodation its individual identity. A tour of the home reveals how every corner has been designed and curated for the inhabitants. With six spacious rooms, the house is every bit luxurious and is a testament to all of the client’s expectations.

“The clients wanted classic interiors that were not inspired by any trends. The bespoke and timeless design of the house speaks volumes about this vision of the client. Building a Vastu compliant house while ensuring the space does not lose its aesthetic appeal, was not an easy exercise. Multiple rounds of discussions & brainstorming sessions with the team helped us achieve what we see today,” said Roshan. Each room resonates with its resident’s admirations while making a seamless transition from one room to the other.

The space lives, breathes and reflects the personality of its owners. “We designed one of the son’s room taking inspiration from his love for music.” With a dedicated corner for his instruments against the backdrop of an immersive London Bridge bedroom wallpaper are the most striking elements of this room. “Our primary vision was to capture all of the client’s requirements without letting go of the home’s sophisticated vibe,” explained Roshan.

“As we gained clarity about the client’s brief, we realized that to bring in versatility and simultaneously, to let the space channel its own energy, we required products that ranked high on quality. Asian Paints is known for its pre and post sales service as well as its exhaustive range of shades and textures. Picking Asian Paints for this project was almost like an obvious choice for us. The ease in availability of colours was what drew us to the brand,” said Roshan.

“To create a visual duality and to separate the identity of the dining area, we wished to create a statement wall adjacent to the dining table. The striking royal blue wall adorned with artificial planters makes for an interesting optic.

“With abundant natural light, the entire space brightens up and the sunshine filtering into the house through the windows, lends an ethereal glow to the house. It perfectly blends with the warm colour scheme that is maintained throughout the house.”

“The vibrant, textured hues by Asian Paints lent the space an extraordinary appeal. When we are working on a project, we need constant assistance from the brands that we are associated with and the Asian Paints team was always there to support us."
