It’s not every day you come across a home that is dressed to the nines and yet exudes a warm and convivial vibe. Located in the heart of Secunderabad, this 5400 – square ft. apartment houses a nuclear family. Principal architect Roshan Maru sought inspiration from the client’s simplicity and elegance which visibly helped elevate the interiors. With white walls and vibrant accent pieces, the welcoming abode effortlessly makes a place for itself in your heart as soon as you set foot inside.
“The clients wanted classic interiors that were not inspired by any trends. The bespoke and timeless design of the house speaks volumes about this vision of the client. Building a Vastu compliant house while ensuring the space does not lose its aesthetic appeal, was not an easy exercise. Multiple rounds of discussions & brainstorming sessions with the team helped us achieve what we see today,” said Roshan. Each room resonates with its resident’s admirations while making a seamless transition from one room to the other.
The space lives, breathes and reflects the personality of its owners. “We designed one of the son’s room taking inspiration from his love for music.” With a dedicated corner for his instruments against the backdrop of an immersive London Bridge bedroom wallpaper are the most striking elements of this room. “Our primary vision was to capture all of the client’s requirements without letting go of the home’s sophisticated vibe,” explained Roshan.
“As we gained clarity about the client’s brief, we realized that to bring in versatility and simultaneously, to let the space channel its own energy, we required products that ranked high on quality. Asian Paints is known for its pre and post sales service as well as its exhaustive range of shades and textures. Picking Asian Paints for this project was almost like an obvious choice for us. The ease in availability of colours was what drew us to the brand,” said Roshan.
