what does the warranty cover?

what is the painting procedure for Apex Ultima?
Before painting you need to first, clean the surface properly to remove dirt, chalk, dust and particles of previous paint. This can be done by scraping your walls with a wire brush and cleaning with water. We recommend that you allow freshly plastered surfaces to cure properly with water for at least 4 weeks before painting. After this, follow the procedure below:
1) Sand the surface using Emery Paper no. 180 followed by Emery Paper no. 320 or 400 and wipe it clean. To smoothen the surface, you can apply Asian Paints Trucare Wall Putty (Optional). If you are applying the Putty, mix water as per requirement and make it into a paste. Allow the wall to dry for 4 hours.
2) Once the putty is dry, apply TruCare Exterior Wall Primer Sealer to prepare your walls for painting. (Application of the Primer is mandatory).
3) Now, apply Apex Ultima by mixing 350 - 450 ml. of water with 1 litre of the paint. Apply 2 - 3 coats of Apex Ultima and allow it to dry for 4-6 hours.
why is Exterior Primer mandatory?
Exterior Primer makes sure that there is a better hold of the paint film to the wall. It provides an additional layer of protection to the surface. It also ensures that the paint stays on the wall for a longer period.

can Apex Ultima be applied during monsoon?
Every product has its own drying time but it’s quite risky to paint during the rainy season in general. Painting during the monsoon is not recommended as it does not give enough time for the paint to dry well. We recommend observing the weather conditions and then moving forward with the painting.
