    HUE [Colour Basics]

    Focused training developed by Asian Paints for design students to understand the use of colour in space. This module covers basic knowledge of colour wheel, making of combinations and understanding colour relationships.

    Format: Presentations with activity

    This module covers categories of paints, the importance of the substrate and application procedure for each category of paints. A workshop session on application procedures also helps students understand the paint category and criteria to choose a finish for a project.

    [Decoding Colour And Light ]

    Colour, Light and Space form the basis of all architectural experiences. Quality and type of light affects how our eye perceives a colour in a space. This module explores the relationship between these three elements to create an understanding of how they interact with and affect each other. The module also outlines a systematic method to develop a colour palette for a space.

    Format: Presentation by experts

    Duration: 2 Hour Presentation (interspersed with activities)

    PALETTE [Colour Trend-spotting]

    Trend forecasting is all about understanding changing consumer behaviour and its impact on design and decor choices. The module will focus on training design students in understanding the nature of trends and potential ways of spotting a trend. The module will also showcase Asian Paints ColourNext themes-allowing students to extend their understanding and usage of trend colour palettes.

    CANVAS [ Advance Paint Technology]

    This advanced paint module will develop in-depth knowledge on paint and its technology, with focus on components of paints. It will also introduce products available in the paints segment.

    Exploring the world of Wood Finishes

    Wood plays a very important role in construction and décor world. Asian Paints brings to you an array of products that can be used to create various effects on wood from solid to metallic and even some textures. This module will help students understand the various types of wood and its application, how to care of wood surfaces and explore the techniques in application.

    Format: Presentation + Demonstration

    Duration: 2 Hour Presentation (interspersed with activities) + 2 hours demonstration

    We offer you the heady high of a truly challenging creative brief and a premier platform to showcase your work. You generate your own inspirations – blend the creative styles of a great painter and a renowned architect, and skillfully infuse it with your personal design signature.
