As the name suggests, simplicity is what defines this concept. Minimal space design would require you to extensively de-clutter. So you would have to decide what to keep and what you can throw away, beforehand.
This concept was born out of the Japanese Zen principles that work towards a tranquil and peaceful space, both visually and psychologically. Less here, is more.
This clutter-free space uses clean lines with texture-play. Materials, that do more with less, work best in these spaces.
