forced coverage of 0.93 sq. mtr/L or 10 Sq. ft/L
Vertical Surface:
a. Fresh Painting: : forced coverage of 2.32 sq. mtr/L or 25 Sq. ft/L
b. Re Painting: : forced coverage of 2.79 – 3.25 sq. mtr/L or 30-35 Sq. Ft/L
SmartCare Damp Proof is available in 1, 4, 10 and 20 litre packs.
If properly closed, and kept away from frost and humidity, the shelf-life of SmartCare Damp Proof is 36 months.
Yes, apply SmartCare Terrace Tile primer before Damp Proof application.
· For horizontal surfaces, use Asian Paints SmartCare Joints Tapes at all joints & corners for better reinforcement.
· The forced coverage leads to long term performance hence it is recommended to ensure coverage as per datasheet only.
· Do not apply during rains or extreme temperatures.
· Not recommended for rain water harvesting purpose.
· Ensure that the product is applied at least 6 inches inside the drain pipe.
· Apply coating on parapet walls as well.
Yes, it is a forced coverage of 3.71-4.64 sq. mtr/litre or 40-50 Sq. Ft/L for 1 coat.
SmartCare Hydroloc is available in 1 & 4 litres pack.
No, SmartCare Hydroloc is not an undercoat. It is to be used a pre-putty waterproofing coating. Post Hydroloc application, one should always use a putty coat and then follow it up with primer and top coat. We can use either cement putty like Asian Paints Trucare wall putty or Waterproofing Putty, or Asian Paints Acrylic Putty or Asian Paints 2X primer Putty. Don’t use local putties like lambi putty.
Yes, it is a 3 year warranty on plaster level. It covers both dampness and efflorescence.
SmartCare Hydroloc has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacturing in unopened condition.
