The Dilip Nayak Residence is located at Hanspal in Bhubaneswar, amidst scarcely-populated lands. Designed by Chirag Design Studio, led by Chirag Swain, the site is planned as a group of villas placed next to each other. As Bhubaneswar is hot and humid, landscaping has been used as an element to control the microclimate of the site, allowing for cool breeze at dawn and dusk. The villas give luxury a new meaning with clutter-free spaces and large openings for light and ventilation on the inside.
The staircase, polished with WoodTech Insignia and WoodTech Emporio finishes, stands out against its sparse surroundings. The dark wood finish of one part of the staircase contrasts well with the floating feeling of glass.
Overall, the residence is a picture of simple elegance where the rich textures of the furniture upholstery add a touch of luxury. The colour palette is controlled, but cozy cushions and delicate fabrics add the flush of colour.
