The Perenne design studio designed by Design by Meta has a complexion of elegant textures which blends majestically to add drama and punctuate the space.

Step into perpetual style.

A large, unapologetically ornate trellis forms the focal point of the studio and is also the first experience your senses savour when you step indoors. The use of a bold blue with gold accents draws attention and energy from all recesses. To intrigue the customers and add drama to the store, the architects created a box which had a perforated shell that glorifies the client’s product (chandeliers). The area is counterpoised by subtle elements like calming plants & subdued upholstery.

The sense of proportion in the studio is underscored by the elevated ceiling that gives it a sense of infinity. Even among the discrepant elements within the space, a sense of plausibility and cohesion is apparent. The textured finish of the wall is, interestingly, not one endowed by paint but by the use of Nilaya LA VIE wallpapers by Asian Paints. The perceptive use of the ambience creates a feeling of buoyancy and jauntiness in the studio.

The interiors of the studio are a carnival for the senses – with multifarious tones, textures, colours, and displays clamouring for attention. The predominance of gold in the inlays, shelves, lights, and artefacts add a sense of affluence to the ambience. A PU Pallete for metal surfaces by Asian Paints was used to create the perfect golden effect for all the shelves and racks. The Nilaya Soft Red Wallpaper that dominates the wall breaks the monotony of the beige and adds a sense of profundity to the studio.

Every alcove in the studio has its own peculiarity, while a thread of synergy weaves through the store concomitantly. On one hand, you notice a vintage style, and on the other, you witness newfangled trends.

“People are more predisposed to believe what they experience than what they are told.” This is what owner Ishaan Taneja feels, and Design by Meta reconstructed it perfectly.

Nomita and Abhishek, the masters of disguise are the masterminds behind this unsurpassed transformation. They exemplified every notional aspect that the owner had from the studio.
