The interiors of the Lux Residence in Lodha World Towers, Lower Parel, designed by Studio Osmosis leverage the generous views of Mumbai’s skyline seen from the balcony of this 40th floor apartment. The living room and kitchen open up to look outward towards the city and at a distance, the sea. Luxury in this apartment is expressed through tactility and light and in that way, it has to be ‘sensed’. Watch Shilpa Jain Balvally and Sameer Balvally, explain the design in their own words.
The interior colour palette, and the use of reflective, glossy surfaces finished in WoodTech Insignia and WoodTech Polyester add to this feeling of expanse. The large openings bring in unobstructed views of the city albeit from afar.
The design weaves together simplicity, functionality, and elegance with luxury, high-quality, and attention to detail. This philosophy is reflected throughout the house, painting every inch of the space with the same stroke of subtle grandeur.
In a building that's visibly aged on the outside, Epsilon led by Bipratip Dhar redesigned a new home from an old one.
