In Ludhiana Manu Sood the principal architect at Sood Builders and Design walks us through this gorgeous bungalow, Elysium in Ludhiana which is a European themed holiday home. Located in the outskirts of Ludhiana amidst a plush green surrounding is Elysium, a European themed home away from home. “The client loves travelling and frequently travels to Europe, and this is how we drew our inspiration to design the house”, says Ar. Manu Sood.

A Sense of Calm from the Chaotic World

This beautiful bungalow is a 3 storey modern home with the old-world charm of European farmhouses. “You will find a lot of hand picked natural stones here from Europe to elevate the European theme in this house”, adds the architect. This holiday home is supposed to give you a sense of calm from the chaotic world and take you through a peaceful holiday mode whilst in Ludhiana with modern-day comforts and conveniences,” says the architect.

A Sense of Calm from the Chaotic World
This beautiful bungalow is a 3 storey modern home with the old-world charm of European farmhouses. “You will find a lot of hand-picked natural stones here from Europe to elevate the European theme in this house”, adds the architect. This holiday home is supposed to give you a sense of calm from the chaotic world and take you through a peaceful holiday mode whilst in Ludhiana with modern-day comforts and conveniences. What you see is a beautiful amalgamation of minimal design, European style, and a sensitive, nuanced home,” says the architect.

Plush Greenery On The Outside
Although the house has a European theme, the design, and the interior is very minimalistic. This Elysium home has a master bedroom, kids room, study area, play area and recreation unit as well. When it was time to select the colour palette and the wallpapers, we blindly turned to Asian Paints, adds the architect. Each part of this house has a touch of Asian Paints wherever you go. The architect further tells us how they have made use of several products from Asian Paints. Ultima Protek has been used on the exteriors of the house, while Emporio Regal and Nilaya Wallpapers have been used in the interior to amplify the beauty of this bungalow. If you take a peep outside, you will find yourself surrounded with an abundance of greenery that gives you a sense of calm.

When we asked the architect about the colours and wallpapers, he mentioned that, “This house would have been incomplete without Asian Paints Emporio Regal and Nilaya Wallpapers. To add that European touch to this house, Asian Paints played as the hero element”.
