How to Apply Nilaya Arc Matt? 

The interior paint, Nilaya Arc Matt, when applied correctly, can create the perfect finish for your home. Here is a step-by-step application process:

Step 1

Start by sanding the surface with Asian Paints TruStar Sanding Paper 180. This will help to remove any particles, paint, dust, and grease. After this, you can wipe the surface clean.

Step 2 

After sanding, apply a coat of Asian Paints TruCare Wall Primer (WT), Dampsheath Interior or Royale Wall Basecoat and let it dry for 4-6 hours.

Step 3

Next, apply two coats of TruCare Acrylic Wall Putty to create a smooth surface and let it dry for 4-6 hours between 2 coats of putty.

Step 4

After the wall putty has dried up, sand the surface with Sandpaper No. 180 and wipe clean.

Step 5

To create a proper surface, apply a second coat of Asian Paints TruCare Wall Primer (WT), Dampsheath Interior or Royale Wall Basecoat and let it dry for 4 - 6 hours.

Step 6

Once the previous coat has dried up, sand the surface with Asian Paints TruStar Sanding Paper 320 and wipe it clean. This will help you create a surface that is smooth and perfect for the application of the paint.

Step 7

Before applying the paint mix it thoroughly and thin 1 liter of Nilaya Arc Matt with 300 – 350 ml of water. 

Step 8

Once the paint mix is ready, apply two coats of Nilaya Arc Matt with a 4 - 6 hour gap for each coat using a Short-Nap felt roller. You can use a mid-nap roller 800 or an Asian Paints Roller 950, followed by application with a foam roller. This extra coat of Nilaya Arc Matt may help create the perfect wall surface, hiding any other imperfections.
