The product covers 5 - 6 square feet per kilogram for 2 coats.
We do not recommend using a thinner since no dilution is required in the paint.
Before painting you need to first, clean the surface properly to remove dirt, chalk, dust and particles of previous paint. This can be done by scraping your walls with a wire brush and cleaning with water. We recommend that you allow freshly plastered surfaces to cure properly with water for at least 4 weeks before painting. With regards to the painting procedure, below are the steps to be followed:
1) Apply Asian Paints Wall Putty (optional). Mix water in the Putty based on your requirement to form a paste. Allow the surface to dry for 4 hours.
2) Apply Exterior Wall Primer by mixing 900 - 1100 ml. of water. If using a spray, you need to mix 400 - 450 ml. of water. Allow surface to dry for 4 hours. (Application of primer is mandatory in case of re-painting. Horizontal surfaces like top of windows or ledges should be painted with 3 coats of Apex Ultima for greater protection).
3) Apply the first coat of Ultima Allura Venezio (No dilution required). Apply it with a Steel Trowel. After application, allow the surface to dry for 12 - 16 hours.
4) Lastly, apply 2 - 3 coats of Asian Paints Apex Ultima/Apex/Apex Ultima Metallic. You can apply this with a brush, spray or roller by mixing 400 ml of water. Allow the surface to dry for 4 - 6 hours.
Special Effects, Royale Play Safari, Royale Play Metallics, Royale Play Special Effects and Royale Play Dune are all water-based paints.
On smooth well-prepared surface by rolling followed by use of Special Effect Tools, the coverage of Royale Play Safari is 40 – 60 square feet per litre for 1 coat. However, actual coverage may vary from the quoted coverage due to factors such as method and condition of application and surface roughness and porosity.
Royale Play Safari is available in a 1 litre pack.
On smooth well-prepared surface by rolling followed by use of Special Effect Tools, the coverage of Royale Play Metallics is 100 - 175 square feet per litre for 1 coat. However, actual coverage may vary from the quoted coverage due to factors such as method and condition of application and surface roughness and porosity.
Royale Play Metallics is available in torrent, fizz, seashell, delta, crinkle, dapple, weaving, canvas, spatula, Colourwash, ragging, sponging, combing and brushing.
Royale Play is a translucent paint, meaning you can see two shades at the same time, giving a two-tone finish. We use a two coat system, base coat of Royale and top coat of Royale Play.

On smooth well-prepared surface by use of the Special Effect Trowel, the coverage of Royale Play Stucco is 18 – 20 square feet per kg for 1 coat. However, actual coverage may vary from the quoted coverage due to factors such as method, condition of application, and surface roughness and porosity.
Royale Play Stucco is available in Cobbled, Quartz, Slate and Marble finishes.
