The first thing you notice in the Gurgaon home of Aman Gupta and his wife Priya, is how the home feels like a long, easy exhale. It sits high above the city, all light and openness, refusing to be boxed in by rigid walls. Boats—terracotta, sketched, or suspended—appear like gentle reminders of the journey that shaped Aman’s life.

The entrance lobby sets the tone with framed canvases carrying tiny boats, and just inside, a jute sculpture seems to float in mid‑air, playful and sincere at once. Nearby, a small mandir keeps the space grounded, as though reminding the house that joy needs a little quiet to stand on.

The living and dining areas spill into each other, softened by round couches and curved edges. Their youngest daughter rides her bicycle straight through, treating the open plan like her personal racetrack, a design decision no architect could plan better.

The entertainment den, dressed in emerald green, is Aman’s pride. So is the bold bathroom with a tiger wearing aviators. Because why not?! But the soul of the home is the balcony. A 300‑year‑old olive tree stands there, steady and wise, watching over evenings spent in conversation, calm, and the kind of togetherness that makes a house feel unmistakably lived‑in, and unmistakably theirs.
