How to Apply SmartCare Crack Seal?
- Step 1: Surface Preparation
- Step 2: Priming
- Step 3: First Coat Application
- Step 4: Second Coat Application
- Step 5: Surface Leveling
- Step 6: Primer and Topcoat
- Cut open the cracks and widen them into a 'V' shape to create a strong base for adhesion.
- Clean the area thoroughly to remove dust and any loose particles.
- Apply primer in the prepared cracks to improve adhesion.
- For interior cracks, use Asian Paints Deco Prime Water-Based Primer.
- For exterior cracks, use Asian Paints Exterior Primer diluted as per recommendations.
- Using a putty knife or trowel, apply the first coat of SmartCare Crack Seal.
- Extend at least 3 cm on either side of the crack to ensure a firm hold.
For severe dampness, apply an additional coat of SmartCare Crack Seal after the first coat has dried.
For a seamless finish, level the surface using Asian Paints Wall Putty.
Complete the process with primer and topcoat for an even and polished look.
