Truecare Yellow Metal Primer Application Process

Follow the following steps while applying the Truecare Yellow Metal Primer:

Step 1: Remove existing rust if any by chipping or scraping.

Step 2: Sand the surface with Emery Paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 3: Paint or spray the Truecare Yellow Metal Primer on the metal surface. 

Step 4: Sand the surface with Emery Paper 320 or 400 and wipe clean.

Step 5: If required use Truecare Knifing Paste Filler.

Step 6: Sand the surface with Emery Paper 180 and wipe clean.

Step 7: Paint or spray the Truecare Yellow Metal Primer on the metal surface. 

Post Painting Care Tips

For the best performance of the paint, ensure proper cleaning of all dust, oil and external particles, if any, at regular intervals of six months.

• Kindly refer to the MSDS for TruCare Yellow Metal Primer which gives detailed information on safety measures while handling the paint.

• Store the product at ambient conditions in well-ventilated locations and away from the source of ignition and fire.

• Do not apply when the ambient temperature is less than 10˚C or if the temperature might drop to this level within 4 hours of this application.

• Avoid eye and skin contact. In case of eye and skin contact, wash with plenty of clean water.

• Do not inhale or ingest. In case of inhalation move to fresh air and seek medical attention if the system persists in both cases.

• Use protective equipment like rubber/polyethene gloves, safety goggles/glasses, and face masks while handling the paint.

• Stir well and strain before use.
