How to Apply WoodTech Emporio Gold PU White?

Step 1: Cleaning

Ensure the wood surface is clean and seasoned with a moisture level of 10–15%. Remove all impurities like dust, oil, or grease to achieve optimal adhesion.

Step 2: Sanding

Sand the wooden surface along the grains using sandpaper no. 180, followed by 320 or 400 grit. Wipe the surface clean to remove dust particles.

Step 3: Insulating (Optional)

Apply 1–2 coats of WoodTech Epoxy Insulator to seal oils and reduce absorption on plywood and MDF boards.

Step 4: Dent Filling

Use WoodTech Filler with a putty knife to fill dents or surface imperfections. Ensure the surface is smooth and level.

Step 5: First Sealer Coat

Spray the first coat of WoodTech Emporio Gold PU White Sealer with a base-to-hardener ratio of 2:1. Allow drying for 4–5 hours, then sand with 320/400 grit sandpaper.

Step 6: Second Sealer Coat

Apply an additional sealer coat for enhanced durability and allow drying for 4–5 hours before sanding again.

Step 7: Topcoat Application

Apply the first coat of WoodTech Emporio Gold PU White Matt or Glossy Topcoat based on the finish preference. Allow it to dry for 6–7 hours, lightly sand, and apply a second or third coat as required.
