How to apply Apex Createx Roller Finish?

• Step 1

This involves the optional application of Wall Putty (product code 0079), mixed with water to form a paste, requiring 4 hours for drying.



• Step 2

Step 2 mandates the application of Exterior Primer (0065), thinned with water at different ratios depending on the application method: 90-110% for brush and roller, and 40-45% for spray, with specific viscosity targets for each. This primer application requires a 4-hour drying period. It emphasizes that horizontal surfaces like window tops and ledges should receive three coats of Apex Ultima for enhanced protection and notes that primer application is mandatory only for repainting surfaces.



• Step 3

This step includes the application of the first coat of Asian Paints Apex Createx Roller Finish Finish (1003) using a roller with 2-5% dilution if required, with a drying time of 12-16 hours.



• Step 4

This step includes the application of 2-3 coats of Asian Paints Apex Ultima or Apex (0068/0012), thinned with water at a maximum of 40% for brush, spray, and roller applications, targeting a viscosity of 25-35 seconds, and requiring 4-6 hours of drying time.
