How to apply Apex Createx Scratch Finish?

• Step 1

This step allows for the optional use of Wall Putty (0079), which is prepared by combining it with water into a paste and then needs 4 hours to dry.
 

• Step 2

For the second step, you must apply Trucare Exterior Primer (0065), which needs water dilution at varying ratios: 90-110% for brush and roller, and 40-45% for spray, each with designated viscosity targets. This primer demands a 4-hour drying period. Horizontal surfaces, such as window tops and ledges, require three coats of Apex Ultima for improved protection. Primer is only required for repainting jobs.
 

• Step 3

This step includes the application of the first coat of Asian Paints Apex Createx Scratch Finish Finish (5492) using a trowel with no dilution, with a drying time of 12-16 hours.

This step includes the application of 2-3 coats of Asian Paints Apex Ultima or Apex (0068/0012), thinned with water at a maximum of 40% for brush, spray, and roller applications, targeting a viscosity of 25-35 seconds, and requiring 4-6 hours of drying time.
