How to Apply WoodTech Aquadur PU Interior
Step 1: Surface Preparation
Ensure wood is properly seasoned with moisture content between 10-15%.
Clean the surface of all impurities, including dust, oil, or grease.
Step 2: Sanding
Sand the wooden surface along the grain using sandpaper no. 180.
Follow with finer sandpapers (320 or 400) and wipe the surface clean.
Step 3 (Optional): Insulation and Filling
Apply 1-2 coats of WoodTech Epoxy Insulator to prevent oil or resin bleeding and minimize paint absorption.
Use WoodTech Filler for dented areas, applying it with a putty knife.
Step 4: Staining (Optional)
To add color, apply WoodTech Wood Stains for Interiors by ragging or spraying, and allow it to dry for 30-120 minutes.
Step 5: Base Coat Application
Apply WoodTech Aquadur PU Base Coat with a brush, roller, or sprayer. Allow it to dry and sand lightly before the next coat.
Step 6: Finish Application
Apply two or more coats of WoodTech Aquadur PU Interior in Matt or Gloss, sanding lightly between coats, to achieve the desired finish.
