The Application Process
For the best results, it’s essential to follow the recommended application process closely.Step 1: Pre-Painting Preparation
- Clean the walls to remove any loose paint, dust, or grease.
- Address any cracks with Asian Paints SmartCare Crack Seal (for cracks up to 3 mm).
- For dents or holes, use wall putty or a cement-sand mixture to fill them.
Step 2: Apply the Base Coat
- For both fresh and repainting surfaces, apply Apex Ultima Protek Base Coat with a brush or roller. Use undiluted coat for self-priming and follow it with one additional coat.
Step 3: Apply the Top Coat
- Use Apex Ultima Protek Advanced Top Coat with a brush, roller, or spray.
- Ensure two coats are evenly applied, allowing 4–6 hours of drying time between coats.
