How to Apply SmartCare Tile Adhesive?

Prepare the surface to be tiled. Ensure it is clean, contaminant-free, and in a saturated surface dry (SSD) condition.
Mix the adhesive with potable water until a lump-free mortar consistency is achieved. Use 7-8 liters of water for every 30 kg bag. A slow-speed stirrer is recommended for uniform consistency.
Spread the adhesive on the surface at a thickness of 3-6 mm using a trowel. Comb the adhesive with a notched trowel and apply only on a manageable area (1 sq. m) at a time.
Place tiles firmly into position with a sliding motion and gently tap them with a soft mallet to ensure proper adhesion.
Leave adequate tile gaps using spacers for uniform joints.
Clean excess adhesive between tile joints and on tiles with a damp cloth or sponge.
Allow the tiled area to set. After 24 hours, fill the tile joints with either Asian Paints cement-based tile grouts or epoxy-based tile grouts.
