How we cope with
Crisis
The entire plant was sanitised with hypochlorite solution, and markings were done to help ensure social distancing.We changed your seating arrangement so you may maintain adequate distance from your colleagues, while working in plant.The cooling of all watercoolers was switched off and we discontinued any cold beverages & food from the canteen. We also discontinued serving raw cut vegetables, to avoid any chances of infection.Quarantine room was set up with all essentials like oxygen cylinder, bed, sanitiser, medicines, chairs etc. An online form was floated, to assess Covid-19 High-Medium-Low risk categorisation of all employees (APL + contract), to adequately advised/action before returning to plant. We asked your pregnant colleague to stay at home, for the safety of her new family.

Safe transport & entrance is ready:
All company vehicle drivers are wearing masks at all times on duty.
Driver will scan your temperature through IR Thermometer; anyone with fever will be asked to stay back home and get tested if any other symptoms appear or fever prolongs.
Driver gives Sanitiser to boarded employee to sanitise their hands.
Your seats have been marked to maintain social distance in the vehicle.
Security guards sanitise the entire vehicle using hypochlorite solution.
Aarogya Setu app checked for everyone (APL & Contract) at the gate. Only those employees displaying that they are ‘Safe’ in the app are allowed in.
IR thermometer used to check temperature at gates again.
Touch-free sanitisers installed at gates.
Biometric attendance disabled.
Masks are provided for everyone at Gates & OHC.
All returning employees to first visit OHC.
We’re completely stopping receipt of personal parcels at the gate for our safety.
Work parcels are kept at the gate for a day, sanitised, and then allowed inside plant.
Restricted entry of vendors, post self-declaration of health and approval by GWM.
Covid informational displays.
Work place was made safe:
PPE suits, masks, googles, face shields provided to all OHC staff.
Workspace, ambulance, quarantine room disinfected every 4 hrs, and after every use.
Anyone returning to plant through air travel to undergo 7-day self-quarantine.
Bins installed for disposal of masks as BMW.
Regular informative & social distancing announcement.
Medical insurance of all employees ensured.
Gym is completely closed.
A certain pattern is followed in the canteen.
Cold food/beverages, raw cut vegetables completely stopped to minimize infection.
Liquid soap and sanitiser both provided for double assurance.
Food being served by canteen staff, no self-service.
Social distance marking done for standing when food is served.
Staggered lunch timing so that all can get seamless service with adequate social distance.
All tables separated to ensure one person per table seating.
