How to Apply WoodTech Emporio PU Clear?
Pre-Painting Steps
Cleaning: Ensure the wood is properly seasoned (10–15% moisture) and free of impurities like dust, grease, or oil. Maintain a clean and ventilated application area to avoid any contamination.
Sanding: Sand the surface along the wood's grain using sandpaper no. 180 followed by 320 or 400 grit. Wipe the surface clean to eliminate loose dust particles.
Insulating (Optional): Apply 1–2 coats of WoodTech Epoxy Insulator to seal oil and resin, especially on plywood and MDF, reducing paint absorption.
Dent Filling: Fill any dents or surface imperfections with WoodTech Filler. Use a putty knife to spread it evenly and allow it to dry completely before sanding smooth.

Spray the first coat of WoodTech Emporio PU Clear Sealer mixed in a 2:1 ratio of base to hardener. Allow it to dry for 3–4 hours and sand with 320/400 grit paper.
Apply the second coat of Emporio PU Clear Sealer, repeating the same process as step 1.
Apply the first topcoat of WoodTech Emporio PU Clear (Dead Matt/Matt/50 Gloss/Glossy) in the specified mixing ratio (e.g., 2:1 for Matt). Allow it to dry for 3–4 hours and sand lightly if needed.
Apply a second or third topcoat to achieve the desired finish. Proper sanding between coats ensures a smooth and even application.
