Steps to take before painting a wall

The first step before painting a wall is to make sure that the room is ready for paint. You'll want to remove all furniture from the room and clean any stains on the walls with a sponge or rag. If there are holes in your wallboard, repair them first before priming and painting over them. You should also sand down any rough patches so that your new coat of paint not only looks good but lasts longer as well!

Step 1: Choosing a colour

The next step to paint a room is to choose a colour. There are many things to consider when choosing a paint colour, like wall colour combination, sunlight received and purpose of the room, but the most important thing is that you should love it! Think about how you want your room to look and feel and choose the perfect wall painting design accordingly.
