How to Apply WoodTech PU Interior Luxury?

 

Step 1: Surface Preparation

  • Ensure the wooden surface is clean, seasoned, and free from dust, grease, and impurities.

  • Check and maintain moisture levels between 10-15% to prevent surface defects.

Step 2: Sanding and Insulating

  • Sand the wood along the grain with sandpaper no. 180, then refine with sandpaper no. 320 or 400. Wipe off all dust particles.

  • Apply 1-2 coats of WoodTech Epoxy Insulator for added protection against oil and resin. (Optional)

Step 3 (Optional): Dent Filling

Use WoodTech Filler to smooth out dents and uneven surfaces with a putty knife.

Step 4: Sealer Coating

Apply WoodTech PU Interior Sealer in two coats using a sprayer, sanding lightly with sandpaper no. 320/400 between coats for a smooth base.

Step 5: Finish Coating

Apply 1-2 coats of WoodTech PU Interior Matt, Semi-Gloss, or Gloss finish, depending on your preference. Sand between coats to enhance adhesion and create a flawless finish.

Step 6 (Optional): Additional Coats and Buffing

Apply a third coat if required, followed by buffing after 48 hours to enhance the gloss levels (for Gloss Finish only).

Post Application Care

Allow the coating to cure for at least 8 hours before further use. Protect the surface from undue stress during the curing process.
