How to apply Apex Ultima Protek?

To prepare a surface for a new finish, begin by applying a base layer of Apex Ultima Protek (product code 1090). Dilute this base coat with water at a 30% ratio by volume, and apply it with a brush or roller. Allow the base coat to dry for 4 hours. Afterwards, apply three layers of Apex Ultima Protek topcoat, following the proper application guidelines, especially paying close attention to horizontal areas such as window tops and overhangs (chajjas).
For both new and repaint applications, apply the 1090 base coat straight from the container, using either a brush or roller. Allow 4-6 hours for the base coat to dry before applying the next layer.
For the finishing layers, apply two coats of Apex Ultima Protek topcoat (1090). Thin this topcoat with water, using a 40% dilution. You can apply it with a brush, spray gun, or roller. For both brush and spray applications, aim for a viscosity of 20-25 seconds. Allow 4-6 hours between coats for proper drying.
Color Palette Suggestions Using Apex Ultima Protek?
Green Beret (7838), Soft Glow (092) and Oracle (0720)
Marble Quarry (8425), Twilight Sky (8204) and Cheer Up (8710)
Spring Delight (8382), Sun Screen (7868) and Brown Paper (8577)
Green Beret (7838) can be used as the main color for the body of the house, providing a strong and grounding base. Soft Glow (0952) can then be used on the trim, fascia, and other architectural details, creating a clean and crisp contrast. Oracle (0720) can be used sparingly as an accent color on the front door, shutters, or window boxes, adding a touch of personality and visual interest.
Marble Quarry (8425), Twilight Sky (8204) and Cheer Up (8710) work beautifully together, creating a balanced and inviting exterior. Marble Quarry can serve as the primary color for the main body of the house, providing a neutral and grounding base. Twilight Sky can be used as a secondary color, perhaps on window trim, shutters, or a porch ceiling, adding a touch of calming blue. Cheer Up should be used sparingly as an accent color, perhaps on the front door, flower boxes, or other small details, injecting a dose of playful energy and curb appeal.
